Industrious Italian outfit Milestone has sure been putting its PlayStation 5 development kits through their paces. Swift in the slipstream of MXGP 2020, the studio has now released the next-gen version of its motorcycle racing game, RIDE 4. You can check out the launch trailer above, which pairs a bunch of cinematic gameplay footage with marketing tidbits.
So, what are the headline features? Well, the two-wheeled racer leverages dynamic resolution up to native 4K, and of course runs at a silky smooth 60 frames-per-second. It also promises full support for the DualSense controller: “Advanced haptic feedback will push the gameplay experience in a new immersive way, letting riders feel vibration, gas, and brakes in the most realistic way possible,” boasts the press release.
If you already own RIDE 4 on your PlayStation 4, then you can upgrade to the next-gen version free of charge, but only up until 30th April. Are you considering taking this for a, ahem, ride? Saddle up in the comments section below.

Coming from the PS4 version to the PS5 version today the haptic feedback really helps me with controlling the bike... lovin it
Load times are WAY quicker too
Separate trophy lists
On it's own it's a decent game with typical Milestone misteps. but coming from PS4 to PS5, No save transfer is pretty lame. What's even lamer is them not saying anything about that BEFORE the PS5 version was released.
The haptic update is nothing special. The only real thing is that makes it better is that there is resistance on the trigger so it's easier to modulate acceleration and braking.
If you've already put a lot of time in PS4 version I don't think there is a big enough improvement to make you go through the game again. Especially if you're on a PS4 Pro which ran pretty good. disappointing but not unexpected
Ill get it when its cheap like I did Ride 2 and 3. Fun games but not worth full retail imo
